Language & Pattern Analysis for Family Law Cases

and High-Conflict Co-parenting Communications

Finding what's buried in the evidence, with human verification at every step...

Hidden & Confused communications lead to lost cases, and continued trauma...

Family law cases increasingly hinge on communication evidence. Messages between parents - across OurFamilyWizard (OFW) [see my special OFW report service], WhatsApp, email, SMS, and other platforms - often run into the hundreds, or even thousands, spanning months or years.

And the patterns that matter most are often scattered across single messages or separate threads.

One message read alone can look reasonable. The same message - read in the context of eight months of similar messages, buried amongst others - can tell a completely different story.

The problem is that chronological exports -  the default format for many platforms, like OurFamilyWizard - make patterns almost impossible to see without spending hours or days manually adjusting message order and logging timestamps.

That's precious time that solicitors, barristers, and their teams rarely have - or costs way in excess of what many clients can agree to pay.

The result: patterns buried in the noise. Evidence that's right there but simply not easy to find or see. Cases that turn on facts that never surfaced because nobody had the time, or money, for them to be found.

In cases involving subtle, psychologically abusive messaging practices, that can also leave one co-parent dangling from the controlling strings of the other.

The AI Trust Problem...and Why It Matters Here

In August 2026, the Solicitors Regulation Authority issued a formal warning notice on the misuse of AI in legal practice [citation:1][citation:6]. The SRA cited two specific concerns:

AI-generated inaccuracies ("hallucinations") entering legal research, advice, and submissions to court.

Confidential client information being entered into AI tools without adequate safeguards, risking permanent waiver of legal professional privilege.

The SRA received 42 reports of potential AI misuse between July 2025 and July 2026, with ongoing investigations [citation:6]. The warning notice plainly states: "If you fail to have proper regard to this warning notice, you are at risk of disciplinary action. We can and will act where we find evidence that solicitors, firms and/or their employees contravene our rules" [citation:16].

The case law is now explicit. In M v F (Fact Finding Hearing) [2026] EWFC 22, the Family Court reduced the evidential weight of an AI-assisted witness statement because the judge could not determine how the tool had been used [citation:7]. In UK v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2026] UKUT 81, the Upper Tribunal warned that using public AI tools with client correspondence can permanently waive legal professional privilege [citation:1]. In BCP v A Mother [2026] EWFC 71 (B), an unregistered barrister misled a family court through AI hallucinations in submissions [citation:11].

This is the environment in which family law teams are now operating. AI tools are useful. But their output must be verified. And that verification requires a real person.

What I provide...

I analyse communication evidence in family law cases, doing it in a way that is human-verified, locally processed, and evidentially defensible.

I work with any format: OurFamilyWizard exports, WhatsApp chat logs, email threads, SMS records. The analysis is the same regardless of the platform - just variations in time to collate the evidence.

However, I also specialise in processing Our Family Wizard pdf ouputs, as a powerful, time-saving extra report service, making it the cleanest data to analyse and report on.

The output is a structured, searchable, evidenced report that surfaces the patterns a chronological read often cannot.

All processing happens locally on my own device. Nothing is uploaded to a third party. Every report is human-reviewed before it goes out.

Wait: Do you deal with clients using Our Family Wizard (OFW) for co-parenting contact?...

If so - especially where Court-appointed - your best starting point is my unique, fast, and revealing Our Family Wizard specialist report service:

Fixed fee. Typically 1–2 working days turnaround.

  • OurFamilyWizard (OFW) provides an output of all messages (in PDF format) in chronological order.

  • I take that output and turn it into a set of incredibly useful and objective data points you would otherwise have to spend hours or days, hoping to create yourself.

High value elements & insights:

  • Gain a full, threaded output, from the chronological OFW pdf - which doesn't show individual conversations by subject.

  • A fast, objective breakdown of communication patterns that a chronological read cannot produce. This is the entry point - the report that shows what's actually in the evidence.

  • Message ratios - across all time and month-by-month

  • Message initiation - who starts conversations, who goes quiet, when this happens

  • Response-time analysis, including flags against user-specified thresholds (e.g. "no response within 24 hours")
  • Flag Unread messages across a particular time (e.g. 24 hours)
This can prove essential when a Court CAO direction required a a specific time-to-view period

  • Lengths of messages in words

  • Timeline visualisation of volume and activity over the covered period

  • A redacted/replaced export, ready for use by solicitors, barristers, or other third parties

Fee: from £195 (smaller exports) to £295 (larger exports) - fixed, quoted on receipt of export size.

The OurFamilyWizard Report Magic...

A significant proportion of my work involves OurFamilyWizard exports.

OFW has a specific limitation: it only allows messages to be viewed and exported in strict chronological order, as a single PDF, with minimal capabilities for displaying communication 'threads'. For cases involving hundreds (or more) messages - across months or years - this makes almost any pattern identification almost impossible without days of manual reading.

I've built a dedicated local-processing , Non-AI tool for OFW exports specifically. It reorganises messages into threaded views, extracts objective statistics (initiation ratios, response times, unread counts, volume over time), and even produces a redacted version for safer third-party use.

Where a court order specifies viewing or response timescales - for example, a 24-hour viewing requirement - the report flags compliance or non-compliance against that directive, with timestamps and thread references for each message.

This is a capability OFW itself does not currently provide (which, given it's live database covering vast numbers of users, is understandable).

If you deal with clients communicating via OurFamilyWizard, this service alone can save you thousands, while also assisting you in case success...

-2- Deep: Forensic Analysis

Fixed fee per case. Scoped and capped in advance.

A detailed, experienced read of language and communication patterns across the case's communications.

Typical findings include:

  • Language patterns consistent with manipulation, minimisation, or coercive control
  • Escalation or de-escalation patterns across time
  • Cross-thread inconsistencies or contradictions
  • Contextual analysis of tone shifts around key events (handovers, disputes, deadlines)
  • Non-engagement patterns that only emerge across months — including where a party consistently failed to engage with specific categories of communication

Sample finding, from prior casework:

In a recent case, the analysis and subsequent submission that used it helped seal a 5-year s.91(14) order being made. This was despite expert advice in Court advocating for no more than 3 years. Those 2 extra years brings a great peace of mind to a Respondent who had already been psychologically and emotionally affected by multiple court actions across her previous 4 years.

Fee: Quoted as a fixed fee per case, based on scope — typically £400–1,200 depending on volume and complexity. You will never be billed beyond the agreed figure.

Note: If your case specifically uses OurFamilyWizard app messaging, it is recommended you get my standard OFW report for that first
